March Birchbox

This month's theme is "March Madness" and I'm sad to say that I am less than impressed with the items inside. *sigh*

Here's the break down:
> eyeshadow by MAKE... adorable size and nice peachy shade. I'm sure I could make it work.

> face primer broad spectrum SPF 30 by MAKE... I don't use makeup, so I have no use for a primer.

> hair lift mousse by Oscar Blandi... I don't use mousse- ever.

> shave crave shaving cream by Whish... this smells just like blueberries! but as much as I love the scent, I'm a Schick Intuition Razor kind of girl.

And the bonus piece this month was a floral emery board by Madewell.

*yawn*

Sorry, Birchbox but this was really nothing for me to get excited about. I will probably give the eyeshadow a try at some point and I will keep the shave cream as a back-up for if I ever run super low on my Schick Intuition Razor bar; the rest of the items will most likely be given away. Next month is my birthday month so I hope that Birchbox will redeem themselves and have a box full of awesome samples that I can actually use. Until then... be beautiful!

  1. Do you find the box to be worth the money? I'm asking because I was subscribed to two natural hair boxes, and I really felt like I was wasting money each month. Is is worth the money, and it this box geared towards makeup or just skincare period?

    1. This is only my 3rd month with Birchbox and the January and February ones were pretty good. They do makeup, hair items, skin care, perfumes, lotions, etc. I have gotten some nice samples but I do wish the samples were based more on the info I gave them about myself, as everything doesn't work for everyone. I will give them until June (which will be $60 by that point) and if I don't get any other good things by then, I'm going to cancel.
