On Sunday, February 10th 2013, I made the change over to paraben-free skin care! (read why here)
I picked up a couple of new items which were working for me at first, but ended up not being the best choice; my skin likes what it likes. So I went back to using a face wash that I would use only as needed and now I use it on a daily basis, twice a day. Here is my current (and hopefully permanent) routine:
Morning
- wash with Murad Clarifying Cleanser
- tone with Caudalie Beauty Elixir
- moisturize with Garnier Moisture Recue Refreshing Gel-Cream
Evening*
- wipe with a Yes To Blueberries facial wipe *
- wash with Murad Clarifying Cleanser **
- treat with Philosophy's Clear Days Ahead Overnight Repairing pads
- use Yes To Blueberries Brightening Eye Roller
- treat expression lines (as needed) with Philosophy's When Hope Is Not Enough facial firming serum
*on Sundays, I don't use a Yes To Blueberries wipe; instead, I use a Yes To Grapefruit facial wipe after washing with my cleanser
** on Thursdays, I exfoliate with Yes To Grapefruit Daily Facial Scrub instead of using my Murad cleanser and follow up with the
Neutrogena Clear Pore Daily Cleanser/Face Mask (I use it as a mask); I use a Yes To Blueberries wipe at the end
There you have it- my complete skincare regimen. It's nice to finally have figured out what works for me!
